Sell online without GST

Small Indian sellers can start selling within their own state with a free GST Enrolment ID (up to ₹40 lakh a year) or the composition scheme. How it works, step by step.

• GST Enrolment ID: free, about 10 minutes on the GST portal with your PAN, for sellers with turnover up to ₹40 lakh a year (Notification 34/2023). It lets you sell through a marketplace within your own state.
• Composition scheme: for turnover up to ₹1.5 crore a year, also within your own state.
• Selling to customers across India needs a regular GSTIN.
